Welcome to Cortex Relay. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services operated by AVATEK SRL. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.
The subscription price consists of a fixed base fee plus a per-active-truck rate, according to the pricing schedule published on our website, capped at the published maximum monthly amount. All prices are exclusive of VAT (B2B); for companies with a valid VAT ID in another EU member state, the reverse-charge mechanism applies. Billing is monthly. Payment is by card; an active payment method is required for an active subscription (except during the free trial).
An "active truck" is a distinct vehicle that performed at least one load (trip) during the calendar billing month, according to the data in your Amazon Relay account or, where such data is not yet available to us, according to the fleet size you declared. The billed quantity for a month is the number of active trucks in that month. Vehicles with no loads in the billing month are not billed.
The subscription follows your fleet. If your number of active trucks increases, you may be notified at any time up to the end of the current month that, starting with the following month, your subscription increases to match the new number of trucks, according to the pricing schedule in force. The notice is sent to the email address and/or phone number associated with your account, and states the new amount and its effective date.
If you do not agree with the new amount, you may cancel your subscription with effect from the end of the current billing period, by notifying us before the communicated effective date. Continuing to use the Service after the communicated effective date constitutes acceptance of the new amount. If your number of active trucks decreases, your subscription decreases automatically from the next billing cycle, with no action required on your part. Access to the Service is never blocked solely because your fleet exceeded your current tier.
Changes to the general pricing schedule (as a company policy, distinct from the fleet-based adjustment described above) will be communicated at least 30 calendar days before taking effect, to the email address associated with your account. Customers with a contractually protected (early-adopter) rate keep their agreed per-truck rate under the conditions of that offer.
A subscription covers a single legal entity and a single Amazon Relay account, associated automatically upon first use of the license. The associated account must belong to the subscribed entity. The number of active trucks is calculated cumulatively, counting each vehicle once.
If the email address of your Amazon Relay account changes, you can request an update of the association from your dashboard or at support@cortex-relay.com; the change is operated by an administrator and the Service continues without interruption. Using the license on an account other than the associated one limits functionality to anonymous contribution mode until the association is updated.
The Service helps you digitally record and analyse freight price information that you can lawfully observe in your own Amazon Relay account — the digital equivalent of noting market prices in a notebook. By using the Service, you agree to contribute this market data (routes, prices, distances, dates) in anonymised form to an aggregated community dataset, in exchange for the value the Service provides (market comparisons and analysis). The aggregated dataset belongs to the contributing community and is operated by us.
Contributed market data is anonymised: it is processed and retained without personal identifiers, so it does not constitute personal data. Anonymised market data cannot be attributed to you and is therefore not subject to deletion requests.
Deletion on request: at your request (support@cortex-relay.com or from the dashboard), we delete your account and the data tied to your personal activity (profile, personal trip history, dashboard account). Records we are legally required to keep (billing notices, invoices, accounting records) are retained for their statutory periods. Any contributed market data is irreversibly de-linked from your identity (anonymised), if not already.
New customers receive a 30-day trial with full access to all features, with no payment card required. If you take no action, the trial simply expires at the end of the period, without any charge. Data collected during the trial can be deleted on request.
If a payment fails, you benefit from a 14-day grace period during which you keep read-only access to your existing reports. After the grace period, the Service is suspended until payment is settled. We will notify you before any suspension.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AVATEK SRL and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.
The content on our website is provided for general informational purposes only. While we strive to keep the information accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the information.
Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of information on this website.
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by AVATEK SRL. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. AVATEK SRL makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AVATEK SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AVATEK SRL and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any significant changes taking effect. What constitutes a significant change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
